Through a recruitment agency I contacted Cader. They are a logistic company with their own products for securing loads. They were looking for a developer who could make them a smartphone application. An application that connects to the products they offer, which is an extension of what they already are. The name for this application has become “LoadAdvisor”.
As an heavy KissAnime.com user I’ve some personal opinions about how the site could be better. One of my annoyances was that for each new episode, I have to click through to a new page. So I decided to fix that myself by making an UserScript for it.
I was looking for a WordPress theme which could display the posts in a nice timeline just like Facebook. You can find enough themes who can do that but those are all paid. For some time now I’ve been playing with the idea of showing content within web pages through magnet uri‘s. This has as advantages that it can’t be directly taken offline and that the website owner doesn’t need massive amounts of storage space to serve large amounts of data.
WP Magnet URI has it roots in a try out in writing my own torrent indexer. It’s based on magnet uri‘s because they’re small and compact. After I wrote the magnet uri part I came to the discovery I also had to write the rest of the site around it, so I decided to port it to a WordPress plugin.
